- ★ ☆ ☆ ☆ ☆2017-11-20, by Spotty DogRip off and bad contact lenses... my husband was told the only contact lenses available for his prescription cost £120 for a pair and there was no alternative - this was a lie as we found out when we moved to Boots optician. The found a lens for £40 a pair that was more breathable and caused less problems for the eye.
